In my professional life I have changed career quite drastically already trying out different industries, countries and even self employment. And although I am really happy in my current job, it may well not be the last stop until retirement.

 

When speaking to other people I often hear them say things like "I'd love to work for a good cause" or "I have always wanted to live and work in..." - so why don't they go for it? What's their reasons to want a career change; are they private or to be found at their current employment situation? And what's people's strategies who have gone for a change?

 

In connection with my thesis at the Eufom European University for Economics & Management in Luxembourg, I perform an empiric study and welcome everyone who has a view on these questions to participate.
